NIFE LA's nutrition education class

The Nutrition is for Everyone Louisiana ( NIFE LA) welcomes Jenry Schorling, LDN, RD, as a Deputy Nutrition Ambassador. Jenry will help with the development of accurate and appropriate nutrition education materials disseminated through the project. She will also consult with the NIFE  LA team on nutrition education curriculum being developed in partnership with Special Olympics Louisiana which is piloting an 8-week nutrition and physical activity curriculum starting later this month.

The Ambassador and Deputies of NIFE LA will offer support in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the nutrition portion of the program. Finally, NIFE LA will also welcome a nutrition intern and two LEND trainees to the project this month who will support ongoing projects, create outreach materials, and maintain social media presence for the project.
