Fran Goldfarb, USC UCEDD Core Function Director

December 7, 2017

It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Fran Goldfarb as the USC UCEDD Core Function Director in Community Education and Information Dissemination. Fran was one of the first Family Support faculty in the LEND network and had an instrumental role nationally in the development of this LEND discipline.

She has been a leader in family support both here and through the Association of University Centers on Disability. In her multiple roles supporting families, she has also led education efforts locally, regionally and nationally. She is often asked to share her expertise with families, teachers and administrators. Fran also is the founder and co-leads the Los Angeles Asperger Syndrome Parent Support Group. She is a staunch supporter of peer advocates and family navigators as well as being a steadfast advocate for families and their children. It is because of her expertise, experience, talent and tireless efforts in education, disseminating information and supporting families that we believe Fran will continue to lead our efforts in ultimately improving care for children with disabilities all while supporting families.

Please join us in congratulating Fran on her new role at the USC UCEDD!
