Dr. Dianne McBrien Named LEND Director of Iowa's UCEDD

On July 1, Dianne McBrien, MD assumed the directorship of the University of Iowa's LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) training program. She succeeds Lenore Holte, PhD, who directed the interdisciplinary program for the past 10 years.

Dr. McBrien is Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics with the Department of Pediatrics at Division of Developmental Disabilities at University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. She also serves as Medical Director for the Center for Disabilities and Development. She graduated from medical school at Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, completed her pediatrics and adolescent medicine residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, and did a fellowship at the University of Iowa in developmental disabilities.
