AUCD Welcomes Daphnee Guillaume as Public Health Program Manager

Daphnee Guillaume is the Public Health Program Manager at the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD), under the supervision of the Senior Program Manager, Disability and Public Health. She supports AUCD's public health programs that aim to strengthen the capacity to carry out activities in the areas of developmental disabilities and health promotion for people living with a disability. Other health promotion and technical assistance responsibilities include creating accessible health education information, program evaluation, information dissemination, and supporting coalitions and training opportunities.

Daphnee has over eight years of experience working as a health educator. She has worked with immigrant & refugee communities, adolescents, and various underserved communities both in Florida and Maryland. She has an extensive amount of experience conducting community health education workshops, designing and implementing health related educational programs and tools (such as brochures, toolkits, and facilitation guides, etc.), and facilitating community health worker trainings.

Prior to coming to AUCD, Daphnee was a health educator at a maternal and child health program, where she provided health education support and programming to expectant mothers and youth in West Baltimore. She also served as coordinator for a comprehensive sexual and reproductive health program for teens at partnering schools and organizations, which she facilitated in the design and implementation of. In addition, she assisted with the development and management of the program's data and evaluation forms.

Daphnee received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Health degree from the University of South Florida.

Daphnee's areas of interest include:
