Cekevia Degrate participated in the Leadership, Employability, and Advocacy Project (LEAP) during the summer of 2015 while she was about to be a Junior in High School. This year she has graduated from high school and is participating in the Work and College Opportunity (WACO) project at Texas A&M University. She describes how the programs helped her grow and prepare to achieve the goals she has set for her future.
