Introducing AUCD's 2017 Summer Interns

AUCD is proud to welcome our summer interns to our team. We are excited to have them join us and contribute their skills and talents to the office and network.

Al-Hafis Adegun Al-Hafis Adegun is a student intern from the Kennedy Krieger Institute. He is working with the public health team under the supervision of Tanisha Clarke to produce a program evaluation for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD's) project, Nutrition is for everyone. His goal is to find effective intervention methods for individuals with disabilities that are struggling with obesity. Read more...

Eva McNabney Eva McNabney is an intern for the ADA Fellowship program, more commonly known as the ‘State Department Project,' for the Summer of 2017. Working with members of AUCD staff and partnered mentors at various UCEDD sites across the country, she seeks to provide logistical assistance and support to fellows from Brazil, Peru, Kenya, and Tanzania in their fellowship experience as well as the development and administration of their projects pertaining to inclusive education practices in respective home countries. Max Soh Max Soh is an intern with AUCD for the summer of 2017 as part of the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) Summer Internship Program. At AUCD, Max is involved with a variety of projects, particularly with aiding in the development of the Diversity Toolkit. Max is a recent graduate from Biola University, located in Southern California, where he graduated with a B.A. in Sociology.  Read more...
