The Arc, in collaboration with the Research and Training Center on Community Living at the University of Minnesota (MN LEND), has launched the 2017 Family and Individual Needs for Disability Supports Survey which seeks to capture perceptions of family caregivers of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) on a range of life-span issues.

The results of the 2010 Survey provided unique insight into the growing gaps in education, employment, and other life-span activities that exist between persons with disabilities and their non-disabled peers, which has informed further dialogue and policy changes at the Federal and State levels.

We are inviting people aged 18 years or older who provide primary un/paid and frequent support to a family member with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) living in the United States and its Territories to provide feedback on their experiences. To participate, the individual must be 18 years or older and provide primary unpaid and frequent support to a person with an intellectual or developmental disability living in the United States (and U.S. territories).

The deadline is April 30, so take the survey today and share it widely in your networks! (http://www.thearc.org/finds)
