ABLE2work - Celebrating the 26th Anniversary of the ADA

July 27, 2016

Held on the 26th anniversary of the signing of the ADA, this event built on the bipartisan effort of the ABLE Act to tear down the barriers to economic independence for people with disabilities. This event was one of the many efforts to bring the voice of people with disabilities to the Democratic National Convention. It was sponsored by AT&T, American Occupational Therapy Association, Association of University Centers on Disabilities, American Association of People with Disabilities, National Down Syndrome Society, Institute on Disabilities UCEDD at Temple University, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia LEND Program, and the University of Pittsburgh LEND Program.

Here's a great recap of our ‪#‎ADA26‬ ‪#‎ABLE2WORK‬ event in Philadelphia from our friends at @RespectAbility. http://therespectabilityreport.org/2016/07/31/celebrating-ada-on-the-sidelines-of-the-dnc/
