On June 22 and 23, 2016, Baltimore County Public Schools hosted the 21st annual Safe Schools Conference titled, "Partnering for School Safety and Student Success" in Woodlawn, Maryland. The Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities (MCDD) at Kennedy Krieger Institute was an exhibitor for the event and disseminated brochures and fact sheets to hundreds of elementary and secondary Baltimore County teachers and administrators.
