On June 28, 2016, the Friends of NICHD hosted an event on Capitol Hill about biomedical research into the implications of the Zika virus for maternal and child health. The event, which was held in cooperation with the Congressional Caucus on Maternity Care, involved presentations by several speakers, including Dr. John Colombo, Director of the Life Span Institute at the University of Kansas. The research findings of the speakers (including Dr. Colombo) can be found here. Dr. Colombo's review of his work begins on slide 46 of the attached presentation.
