AUCD signed onto letters to the Chairmen and Ranking Members of the Subcommittees on Labor, Health and Human Services and Education in the House and Senate, expressing support for the inclusion of $38 million to fund the Assistive Technology (AT) Act programs in the FY 2017 Labor, Health and Human Services and Education (LHHS) Appropriations bills. AUCD strongly urges members of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees to fund the AT Act fully in order to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access the assistive technology resources they need.
