Robyn Carroll Honored with NJ APSE Special Tribute Award (NJ UCEDD)

Robyn Carroll, MSW, was honored with NJ APSE Special Tribute Award by the Board of New Jersey Association of People Supporting Employment First, (NJ APSE). As one of the first chapters of the national APSE organization, NJ APSE is comprised of members committed to the mission of advancing employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The award recognized Robyn for enhancing and promoting training opportunities that enable supported employment professionals to reach their career goals and expand their ability to provide knowledgeable and informed choices to the individuals with disabilities they support. Robyn was presented with the award at the 22nd Annual Facing the Future Conference, "Building Bridges to Successful Employment: Finding Solutions to Span Employment Gaps," in Somerset, NJ.

Robyn serves as the Communications Manager at The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She is responsible for event coordination, including the Developmental Disabilities Lecture Series and conferences, as well as the continuing education, dissemination, and data systems for The Boggs Center. She has supervised the coordination of the Facing the Future Conference, which highlights best practices in supporting people with disabilities in career planning, customized employment, and transition from school to work, since 2006.
