Event Description
The Autism Intervention Research Network on Physical Health (AIR-P) will be hosting its fifth plenary Research Day at the Autism CARES Meeting in July 2023. This event is part of the Autism CARES Meeting and will emphasize research led by autistic researchers and collaborators, highlighting content related to the physical health and overall well-being of autistic individuals. This in-person event will have no separate registration fee and is open to all.
Poster Presentations Applications (RFP)
AIR-P is pleased to launch this call for poster presentations at the semi-annual AIR-P Research Day at Autism CARES 2023 Meeting. AIR-P is committed to creating inclusive and enriching opportunities for research professionals and students engaging in work to improve the physical health and wellbeing of autistic individuals. Autistic researchers and Autistic community stakeholders are highly encouraged to apply. Special topics of interest are poster presentations highlighting inclusive research practices. Submissions of work in progress is encouraged, as the Research Day is intended to provide opportunities to network with and gain feedback from peers and experts.
Accepted presenters (or their Program/Center) are expected to pay all travel costs associated with their attendance upfront in their entirety. There is no registration cost associated with the poster session at AIR-P Research Day. Following attendance at AIR-P Research Day at Autism CARES 2023 AND submission of required paperwork, including receipts, accepted poster presenters will receive: 1) full reimbursement of reasonable travel expenses and lodging expenses and 2) partial reimbursement of their food expenses. Please view full details of allowable expenses in the reimbursement form.
