2021 Emerging Leaders Post-Conference Workshop 2: Storytelling

Event Description

Storytelling is an empowering technique to share one's stories and deliver messages. It's often used to amplify the voices of individuals with disabilities, their families, and allies. This strategy uses audio, images, or video to creatively engage with an audience. Workshop participants will learn and apply skills in digital storytelling to communicate their unique experiences as trainees.

This event is sponsored by AUCD's Interdisciplinary Technical Assistance Center (ITAC) on Autism and Developmental Disabilities and the UCEDD Resource Center (URC).

Learning Objectives

After this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain digital storytelling and its benefits
  2. Use tips and tools in digital storytelling
  3. Create a storytelling plan
