Twitter Chat on Accessibility and Universal Design

The AUCD Community Education and Dissemination Council (CEDC) invites you to join us on Monday, August 30, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET for a Twitter chat on Accessibility and Universal Design! We will be taking over the @AUCDNews Twitter handle to share insight and resources from our network. This is an easy way to share and gather resources on improving accessibility and implementing Universal Design where we live, work, and play.
How do I participate in the CEDC Twitter Takeover?
You can join the conversation from your personal and/or center's Twitter account! This email can also be forwarded to your Center's communication specialist, or whomever manages your UCEDD/LEND's social media accounts.
The best way to engage in the conversation is to have answers ready to the questions below that we will be asking during the Twitter chat event:
Q1. What does accessibility mean to you?
Q2. What challenges have you experienced with accessibility or Universal Design?
Q3. In what ways have you or others benefited from accessibility or Universal Design?
Q4. What are some strategies or tools that you use to make documents/resources accessible?
Share a favorite web site or document that you use!
Be sure to label your response to each question as A1, A2, A3, or A4 and include the hashtag, #AccessibilityForAll! It'll also be easy to partake in the conversation by liking and retweeting our tweets!
