Are you looking for guidance on how to set up an effective grant office within your center? This installment of the Admin Essentials Series will provide a facilitated roundtable discussion of how to integrate grant professionals into your UCEDD.

Topics will include:
1. What goes into setting up a grant office and determining your grant strategy,

2. Role expectations for a grant professional,

3. Strategies for projecting and tracking grant success,

4. Salary ranges by knowledge and experience, and

5. Expected financial yield and return on investment.

This event is part of the Admin Essentials Series-- a series of virtual round table discussions on pressing administrative questions. It’s perfect for UCEDD Directors and Business Managers who are interested in an action-oriented discussion space to problem solve through tough administrative challenges.  Each installment will include content from seasoned experts. A tip sheet of resources, strategies, and lessons learned will be developed and disseminated following each discussion.

What is the purpose of this session?

This roundtable discussion will convene UCEDD Directors, Business Managers, and other relevant staff to discuss evaluating the performance of grant professionals. The discussion will be facilitated by Julie Assel, a Grant Professional Association Approved Trainer and current President of the Grant Professionals Certification Institute’s board of directors.  Resources on the topic of grant professionals will be shared during the meeting.
