About this Webinar:
Join the AUCD Sexual Health SIG for an open discussion to talk about ways to maintain relationships while social distancing. This conversation will begin with a discussion of potential ideas and strategies to help individuals connect during this time. Attendees are encouraged to share and discuss challenges faced along with successful tips and strategies used in their communities.
Presenters:
Julie Atkinson, MS
Julie Atkinson is a Research Professional at the University of Alaska Anchorage Center for Human Development. She is the program coordinator for the Friendships & Dating Program overseeing training, implementation, evaluation, and technical assistance. Julie holds a Master of Science from Utah State University and has worked as an aide in state government on health and disability issues.
Lindsey C. Mullis, MS
Ms. Mullis works as the Inclusive Health & Wellness Director for the University of Kentucky's Human Development Institute, promoting inclusive health for people with disabilities and the communities that serve them. She serves as the Centers for Disease Control Health & Disability Program state coordinator and certified Health Promotion Clinical Director for Special Olympics. Ms. Mullis' educational background is in psychology, exercise science, and health promotion with certificates in developmental disabilities and research methods while currently pursuing a PhD in Health Education Sciences with a dissertation focus on disability and sexuality.
Lindsay Sauvé, MPH
Lindsay Sauvé is the Evaluation and Program Manager for the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. Her work involves leading the evaluation of the OHSU UCEDD's core grant, which includes strategic planning, developing performance metrics, measuring program progress, and writing and disseminating program results. She also develops and evaluates programs for community members with disabilities, with a focus on health promotion for transition-age youth.
