Location: Webinar

The Act Early Network Webinar this quarter will highlight the Preschool Development Grants Birth through Five (B-5) with guest speaker Richard Gonzales from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services/Administration for Children and Families and their Office of Child Care. He will discuss the purposes of the grants, how those purposes are similar and different from grants that have been funded previously, the required activities under these grants, and the suggested approach that States should take in doing this work. He will also talk about coordination, collaboration, and integration with all programs and services birth through five and how various early childhood stakeholders might be able to contribute to the work of their State.

The Act Early Network is a collaborative initiative of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs (AMCHP) and the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) to further advance the CDC's "Learn the Signs. Act Early." Program.
