About this Webinar

Learn more about the Council on Leadership & Advocacy (COLA) and how you can enhance your leadership opportunities at your UCEDD, LEND, and IDDRC. Leadership happens at all levels of the organization from the advisory boards to staff and directors of programs. In 2017, the Council on Community & Advocacy (COCA) changed their name to COLA. The new orientation of COLA focuses on leadership of individuals with lived disability experience, both from individuals and family perspectives. Across the AUCD network, there are people with disabilities and family members that are leaders in UCEDDs, LENDs, and IDDRCs. This webinar will discuss:

  • The Council on Community & Advocacy's (COCA) name change and its new orientation which focuses on the leadership of individuals with lived disability experience, both from individuals and family perspectives.
  • How people with disabilities and family members are leaders in UCEDDs, LENDs, and IDDRCs across the AUCD network at all levels of the organization from the advisory boards to staff and directors of programs.
  • The changes in the Council and how you can collaborate with others to enhance your leadership and work at your center.
  • COLA's work and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the AUCD network.

A Webinar from AUCD's Council on Leadership & Advocacy (COLA).
