An award-winning Wyoming filmmaker is interested in your feedback on her documentary-in-progress, "Hearts of Glass." So, grab your goodie bag with popcorn and movie snacks, and join her (Jennifer Tennican, Producer/Director) and Elise McMillan, JD (UCEDD Director, Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities) for a screening session and moderated discussion. The event will last approximately two and a half hours. This event is free, but we do request people pre-register her by 5 PM Friday, March 14.

  2018 UCEDD Directors Retreat

The UCEDD Directors Retreat is a focused, 4-hour meeting that provides an opportunity for network and central office leadership to discuss topics of critical importance to the UCEDD network, outside the presence of federal funders. This year's meeting will focus on trends in higher education, and the UCEDDs' positioning in institutes of higher ed.

The TA Institute provides an opportunity for UCEDD leaders to network, meet with their federal project officers, and learn of new initiatives, national trends, and other information vital to the administration of the UCEDD programs. This year's meeting will focus on UCEDD operations, as well as change management related to leadership succession

 AUCD Gala


In lieu of a welcome reception on Tuesday March 20th, all Directors' Retreat and TA Institute participants are invited to attend the AUCD Gala that same evening from 6-10pm, which will be held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. We will provide accessible shuttles to take guests to and from the Kellogg Center and the Gala. You'll receive more information about the logistics as we get closer to the date.

Please note that the cost of the AUCD Gala ticket is included in the $125 registration fee for the Directors' Retreat.

If you will not be attending the Directors' Retreat but would still like to attend the Gala, you may purchase a ticket here.

The Kellogg Conference Center provides a shuttle service to and from the hotel to Union Station and to the H Street Corridor. The shuttle runs every fifteen minutes, and stops at the front entrance.

The Kellogg Center is within a 15 minute walking distance of the NoMa/Gallaudet Metro stop on the Red line. It sits across the street from one of DC's famous food hubs, Union Market, and is also within two miles of the US Capitol and offices on the Hill.
