Description

As we head into the second decade of Web 2.0 (and its' awkward teenage years), let's take some time to examine what Web 2.0 was, is and will become. We'll examine what role different platforms play in our workflow, communication and marketing. And we'll ask some intriguing questions: Is Web 2.0 just for nerds? Did Web 2.0 elect a President, twice? And seriously,    what is Twitter for?

Jeff Coburn is the Web Services Manager at the Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) at UMass Boston. Jeff coordinates and builds accessible online services and websites; advocates, writes, and speaks on Universal Design and accessible web development;and serves as a resources for all things technical at ICI. Prior to ICI, Jeff worked in commercial web development for companies in Boston and London, and earned a degree in Journalism from Saint Michael's College in Vermont.
