Event Description
You are invited to join us on Thursday, May 17 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for a Learn the Signs. Act Early. Ambassador meeting. This one-day meeting will provide opportunities to network, share, and learn from fellow Ambassadors, experts from the NCBDDD Communications Center, and AUCD's Legislative Affairs office.

Please make your room reservation online (click here!), or by calling the hotel directly (800-228-9290). If you are booking by phone, please ask for the AUCD discounted rate. If booking online, the discounted rate code will already be entered in the appropriate field. Although the cost for the rooms will be billed directly to AUCD, you will need to provide your own credit card information to hold the room and for any incidentals.

Please book your flights using the most economical methods. Travel expenses will be reimbursed by AUCD and will not affect your Ambassador stipend. You will need to fly into Harstfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and take ground transportation to the hotel. There is also a MARTA station at the airport and close to the hotel (Brookhaven Station). The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. on May 17th. Please arrange your schedule so that it allows you to attend the entire meeting.

Join the discussion on SharePoint to find a fellow Ambassador to share a cab with from the airport to the hotel. AUCD will assist in arranging cabs to the airport following the meeting.

Please remember that receipts must be itemized and show the payment method used. ALL receipts must be submitted or you will not be reimbursed. The CDC is a secure site. You will all be put on a clearance list before the meeting. If you are NOT a US Citizen there are other actions we must take. Please let us know ASAP if that is the case. US Citizens must have a photo ID (e.g., driver's license).
