As more service members return to the United States with injuries, and, in some cases lifelong disabilities, many public health programs have adapted their programs to address the unique needs of veterans and their families. This webinar will highlight the work of two CDC-funded organizations that dedicate a portion of their efforts towards advancing public health outcomes for veterans. Presenters will share specific examples from their programs, and will participate in a question and answer session on this issue.
Presenters will include:
Dr. Terry Sheehan, Chief Medical Officer, Adventist Medical Group, in collaboration with the Amputee Coalition
Steve Coleman, VP of Military and Veteran Programs at the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation Paralysis Resource Center
