This webinar focused on the value and use of data for improved outcomes for young children and their families. Every day, we are presented with more and more data and it is important to have strategies to use that data effectively. The presenters provided an overview of the data use framework of the OSEP funded Data Accountability Center (DAC). They also reviewed training materials that DAC and the Virginia Early Intervention Program have developed to assist local administrators increase their skills in using data for improvement in their programs. The discussion included a local example of data use taken from the Virginia training materials.
