Event Description

This event is an invitation only policy meeting to address benchmarks, data systems, and the role of public health in assessing early identification, screening, and referral for young children with developmental disabilities. This working meeting is a joint effort of the CDC and AUCD and will be held November 30, 2011, in Atlanta, Georgia. The workgroup will consist of approximately 25 invitees from federal agencies, national organizations representing medical, education, and policy groups, and state health and education departments.

This workgroup will be charged to develop a set of benchmarks to help states measure their systems for early identification, screening, referral, and entry into services.  We hope that you will be able to take time out of your busy schedules and join us on November 30 in Atlanta.
