16th Annual Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology (MCH EPI) Conference

Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology (MCH EPI) conference organizers invite all first year/new fellows, interns, trainees, and CDC EIS Officers to join other researchers and health professionals working on issues related to improving the health of women, children and families in sharing research, enhancing knowledge, and generating new ideas for improved MCH data use and informed policymaking in San Antonio, Texas, December 15 - 17, 2010!

This Call for Abstracts is exclusively for first year/new fellows, interns, trainees, and CDC EIS Officers interested in submitting abstracts for oral or poster presentation.  Each submission requires proof of fellow/intern/trainee/CDC EIS Officer status from a current mentor or supervisor for consideration.  Conference Organizers strongly recommend that all interested parties submit by Friday, July 30, 2010.

Pre-Conference Trainings: December 13 - 14
Wednesday, December 15, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Thursday, December 16, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday, December 17, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Note: All participants are required to register and pay to attend the conference.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the San Antonio Marriott River Center for a discounted rate of $99.00 per night plus applicable tax, for single/double occupancy. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis until November 19, 2010. The lower room rate also applies 3 days after the conference.
