Upcoming DataSpeak: Children's Emotional, Behavioral, & Developmental Well-being

Tuesday, February 9, 2010
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The MCH Information Resource Center, funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), is pleased to announce the next program in the DataSpeak Series: "Children’s Emotional, Behavioral, and Developmental Well-being: New Data and Tools for the Field."

According to the National Survey of Children’s Health, 11.3 percent of children in the United States are affected by emotional, behavioral, or developmental conditions, based on parental report. This web conference is intended to provide participants with national- and state-level data on the prevalence of these conditions, with a discussion of the rise in autism rates, specifically. There will also be information on the role that public health professionals can play in helping primary care providers to provide appropriate care for this population.

This program will take place on Tuesday, February 9, 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET (2pm Central, 1pm Mountain, 12 noon Pacific). For full program details, please visit the MCHIRC Web site at: http://www.mchb.hrsa.gov/mchirc/dataspeak/events/2010/0209/index.htm
