Georgetown University's Leadership Academy to Address Disparities in Mental Health Care

Georgetown University is sponsoring a Leadership Academy to Address Disparities in Mental Health Care, August 24-27, 2009 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Registration will be held on Monday, August 24th from 2:00-4:00 pm. The Academy will begin promptly at 4:00 pm and end on Thursday, August 27th at 9:30 pm.

Upon completion of the Georgetown Leadership Academy on Addressing Disparities in Mental Health Care, you will:

  • acknowledge your ability to lead efforts that effectively address mental health care disparities regardless of your designated position within your respective organization or setting;
  • gain knowledge and skills to serve as agents of change;
  • make a commitment to your leadership role in addressing mental health disparities in mental health care; and
  • develop strategies to sustain yourself as a leader in
     chaotic, difficult and challenging environments.
