At the time we noted that the five-year plan is an outward-facing document that articulates how centers fulfill the core functions in their selected areas of emphasis with specific goals, activities, and outcomes. We also acknowledged that much work of the critical work in ED&I done by UCEDDs might be described inwardly directed. This would include activities such as organizational self-assessments, supporting cultural and linguistic competence, university-level collaborations on recruitment and retention, national and community partnerships, anti-racism initiatives, creating internal centers for focused efforts, ensuring representation in all UCEDD activities and governance, leveraging resources, and integration of these commitments into the overall evaluation plan.=0D=0A=0D=0AIn this virtual workshop, UCEDD leaders will discuss strategies for demonstrating their ED&I commitments in the needs, evaluation, organizational capacity, and leveraging sections of the core grant application.=0D=0A=0D=0APresenter:=0D=0A=0D=0ADan Crimmins=0D=0A=0D=0ADaniel Crimmins, PhD, retired from his position as Director of the Center for Leadership in Disability (CLD) and Clinical Professor of Public Health at Georgia State University on June 1st of this year.
