She is also the Director of the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities, the UCEDD in Rochester, New York. With her colleagues, she conducts community-partnered research related to developing, disseminating, and evaluating behavioral interventions to support individuals with ASD and their families. Her research also involves assessment of parent needs and barriers to self-care, as well as the development of programs to help address parent stress and well-being..=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ADr. Brent Askvig is the Executive Director of the ND Center for Persons with Disabilities and a Professor of Special Education at Minot State University in North Dakota. He has been involved in every one of the Core grant applications for NDCPD since 1990.
