We envision this as a quick-paced, solution-targeted webinar in which each Center will have a maximum of 2 minutes to present and summarize their response action. Dr. Stough's research investigates how environmental hazards affect individuals with disabilities and other historically marginalized populations. She is the co-author of Disaster and Disability: Explorations and Exchanges, which includes 19 chapters written by individuals with disabilities from around the world on their experiences with disasters and emergencies. Dr. Stough serves as Chair of the Disability Task Force for the Division of Emergency Management for the State of Texas and Chair of the Special Interest Group on Emergency Preparedness for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0ADr. Amy Sharp has over 30 years of experience in working with people who have disabilities and in administration. Aligning with the TCDS mission to create a better world, Amy works to create growth at the Center while impacting positive change. She moved into the Director position at the Texas Center for Disability Studies at the University of Texas Austin in October 2015. Experience in research, teaching elementary education, practicing as a diagnostician, advocating for families, founding an inclusive camp, and many other related activities led Amy towards administration.
