He currently serves as director of the UAB-Lakeshore Foundation Research Collaborative and Director of the National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability. For the past 30 years, he has been developing and directing health promotion programs for people with disabilities aimed at reducing obesity, increasing physical activity and improving nutrition in youths, adults, and seniors with disabilities.
