Less than one percent of the actual cases were diagnosed. Persons with FASD are over represented in child welfare and criminal justice systems, making the condition one of the largest public health issues as well as the greatest cause of preventable intellectual disabilities. The AUCD network is positioned to provide leadership in preventing and intervening with FASD. This webinar will provide knowledge about FASD and tools to become involved, including connections with others in the network who are providing leadership and with national resources.=0D=0A=0D=0AThe content will be presented in three, one-hour webinars.March 8th - Overview of FASD & Preventing Alcohol-exposed Pregnancies - RecordingMarch 15th - Treatment and Interventions & Addressing Stigma - RecordingMarch 22nd - Building Community Supports & Becoming an FASD Champion - Recording=0D=0A=0D=0APresenters=0D=0A=0D=0ALeigh Tenkku Lepper, Ph.D., is Associate Research Professor and the Master in Public Health program at the University of Missouri, where she is the PI for several projects, including the CDC-funded national project, Mental and Reproductive Health FASD Practice Implementation Center (MRPIC).
