IRCA is a statewide program that works to build local capacity for families and professionals to address the needs of individuals on the autism spectrum across the lifespan. Dr. Pratt coordinates the Autism Special Interest Group (SIG) through the Association of University Centers on Disability (AUCD. Dr. Pratt serves on numerous Advisory Boards, including the Advisory Boards of Maap Services, Inc., the Temple Grandin/Eustacia Cutler Autism Fund and the College Internship Program. Dr. Pratt also serves on the Panel of Professional Advisors for the Autism Society and is currently involved in their strategic planning. Dr. Pratt is co-chair of NATTAP (Network of Autism Training and Technical Assistance Programs). In addition, she is a member of the National Autism Leadership Collaboration.She writes and presents internationally on the following topics: autism spectrum disorders, functional behavior assessment/positive behavior supports, applied behavior analysis, instructional approaches, evidence-based practices, systems change, and policy. Prior to pursuing her doctorate at Indiana University, Dr. Pratt worked as a classroom teacher for students across the autism spectrum and with other disabilities.=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0ADr. Sydney Rice, MD., MS, University of Arizona Department of Pediatrics=0D=0A=0D=0ADr. Sydney Rice is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the University of Arizona Department of Pediatrics. She holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University, a doctoral degree in Medicine from the University of Arizona, and a master's degree in health evaluation sciences from the University of Virginia. She received residency and chief residency training in pediatrics at the University of Arizona where she received multiple teaching awards. She has a special interest in children with traumatic brain injury, autism and myelomeningocele. She works clinically on many different multi-disciplinary teams with children with varied disabilities. She teaches in the UA medical school in both the basic science and the clinical medical curricula. She is active with the American Academy of Pediatrics as an editor of an online publication for developmental pediatricians, PREPDB. She is also active in the Arizona chapter of the AAP and multiple community and state boards.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0A=0D=0ADr. Erika Ryst, M.D., University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM)=0D=0A=0D=0ADr. Erika Ryst is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist and Associate Professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM). At UNSOM, she currently serves as the Program Director for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, and as the Interdisciplinary Training Director for the Nevada Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (NvLEND) program. She completed her undergraduate education at Stanford University, followed by medical school at the University of Southern California, and post-graduate general psychiatry residency and child psychiatry Fellowship training at Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Ryst has been on the faculty at the University of Nevada since 2004. In addition to her training roles, Dr. Ryst has served as a consultant to the Washoe County School District and the Washoe County Department of Social Services.
