Project Description
Supports implementation and development of the DDS Employment Outcomes Information System including data cleaning and review of the 2008 data, maintaining the DDS Employment Outcome Data web site, providing TA to DDS personnel on use and interpretation of these data, and updating the data display on the web site to meet DDS strategic needs. ICI staff will provide custom analysis on request to DDS, and will develop annual and trend reports at the provider, area office, region and state levels. ICI will support implementation of the 2009 data collection including reviewing data collection approaches to support the EOHHS benchmarking initiative?s data needs. Supports DDS participation in the State Employment Leadership Network, a cross-state cooperative venture of 16 state intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) agencies that are committed to improving employment outcomes for adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities. The State Employment Leadership Network, through ICI, will provide training, research, and consultation to support development of DDS employment policy and strategy. The primary focus of SELN TA during FY2010 will be support for the web-based display of data to support DDS strategy and policy at the area office, regional and state levels. The SELN will support development and maintenance of a state employment workplan that lays out short-term objectives and action steps through state-to-state meetings with peer experts to support DDS goals, monthly teleconferences with member states, monthly topical web conferences, and customized topical research in response to DDS requests about comparable state policy, strategy, or funding models, and network research documents.
