TIPSID Higher Education Opportunities for Students is a partnership between the UMKC Institute for Human Development, College of Arts and Sciences and Department of Psychology. It is made up of two separate programs available to high school students and young adults with intellectual developmental disabilities that allow students an opportunity to explore employment and education on a major university campus. The first program is Bridge to College, a college explanatory and employment visioning program. The second program is Propel, an inclusive post-secondary option for students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities leading to a 2-year certificate. |
