JNP is developing and implementing a comprehensive set of policies, procedures and evidence based practices that remove barriers, decrease funding redundancies, and facilitate the transition process from secondary, postsecondary, and prevocational training settings, and improve competitive employment outcomes in integrated community based settings for youth and young adults with ID/DD. Objective 1: Identify emerging, promising and sustainable policies, procedures and evidence based practices. Objective 2: Conduct a pilot to demonstrate effectiveness. Objective 3: Implement a sustainable plan with legislation to remove barriers that impede competitive employment opportunities.
