Project Description
Provides internship training for psychology students completing their final year of applied doctoral education. Grant is designed to provide stipend support for 18 psychology interns in underserved and rural areas where behavioral health services have been lacking. The goal of the program is to increase access and services to underserved populations, with emphasis upon establishing behavioral health delivery in pediatric primary care practices. In addition to Nebraska, the program will provide internships at replication and dissemination sites in at least three other sites across the country.
