Project Description
Nebraska's General Supervision Enhancement Grant (GSEG) "Results Matter", is intended to respond to Section 616 of IDEA which requires the establishment and implementation of systems for monitoring implementation of and enforcing obligations under Parts B and C. The Results Matter project is intended to build upon previous work initiated during 2004-2005.

Results Matter addresses the needs for technical assistance to improve Nebraska's capacity to meet Federal data collection requirements in two focus areas. First, Results Matter will address Focus Area One, developing or enhancing Part B State outcome indicators and methods to collect and analyze Part B outcome indicator data. Results Matter will direct one focus on improving the capacity of the State to provide information that could be used to determine the following: (a) the impact of Part B Section 619 preschool services (ages 3 through 5) on children with disabilities at the State and LEA levels. Secondly, Results Matter will address Focus Area Two, developing or enhancing Part C State outcome indicators and methods to collect and analyze Part C and B outcome indicator data.
