Vita/Bio
Debra B. Hecht, PhD is a clinical child psychologist and an Associate Professor at the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Clinical and research interests include the implementation of evidence-based practice into the field and the development and evaluation of appropriate assessment and treatment programs for children who have been abused and neglected and their families. She currently is involved in the evaluation of a statewide service program to high-risk families provided by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. She also is involved in the supervision and training of Psychology Interns, Post-Doctoral Fellows, and practicum students.
