Vita/Bio

Gwen is a licensed counselor and school psychologist. She is the interim director of the Child & Youth Study Center at the University of Idaho's Center on Disabilities and Human Development. Her clinical work is focused on assessment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders in children. Dr. Mitchell's research focuses on reciprocal communication skills with adolescents on the autism spectrum.
