Biennial Community Partnership Celebration

11/29/22

Every two years, Community Crossroads hosts a premiere Biennial Community Partnership Celebration, and this year, it was held on October 13 at the Atkinson Country Club & Resort.

Student Kate Lonergan of UNH College of Health and Human Services was in attendance and won the Outstanding DSP Award, as was UNH-4U student Andrew!

Two NH Leadership Series grads also took home awards: Regan Lamphier ('17) won the Kathleen Murphy Community Partnership Award and James Watson ('14) won the Outstanding Achievement Compass Award.

IOD Director Kelly Nye-Lengerman, NH Leadership Series Coordinator Deb Genthner, and Inclusion Facilitator Karen Martin-Brown helped the winners celebrate, along with Rachel Smith, a NH-ME LEND program trainee from Communication Sciences and Disorders in the UNH College of Health and Human Services, who was working the event as part of her LEND leadership placement.

This event is a valuable opportunity to personally meet legislative candidates and/or voters and constituents in advance of each November election to talk about issues that impact people with disabilities and honor exemplary members of the community!
