2020 Emerging Leaders Map
We are excited to share the 2020 AUCD Emerging Leaders Map! The theme of this year’s map is "Enhancing Access: Opening Doors with and for People with Disabilities." We feel that ‘Access’ can be defined in many ways, whether it is access to appropriate medical care and/or evaluations, mental health and community services, jobs, access to new research projects or creating accessible spaces. Our hope for this year’s map is to showcase the many diverse ways that emerging leaders are working to enhance access for people with disabilities and facilitate dialogue and collaboration between centers.
The Map provides an opportunity for you to explore and learn more about each trainee and early career leader. When clicking on a pin from a Program/Center, you'll learn more about how each trainee centers people with disabilities/disabled people and how they are an advocate for the disability community.
