Information for Online directories
Most AUCD Network member organizations submit information about their staff and researchers for inclusion in one of AUCD's online directories. These include NIRS, the UCEDD and LEND directories, and/or the IDDRC Web Portal Directory of Researchers. If you provide this information to AUCD, or when data coordinators or administrators at your programs compile this information for AUCD, it will be placed in one or more of these directories and will be publicly accessible on the AUCD website.
If you do not want your information included in these directories please contact AUCD at 301-588-8252 or email@example.com. You may also contact your center's director, data coordinator, or administrator.
You will provide us with information about yourself and your organization when you register for meetings or register for email newsletters, alerts, and listserves. This information is not used for any other purpose other than to fulfill your request and is not shared with outside parties.
Password-protected Online Applications
When you use one of the password protected applications on this site, you will provide us with information about yourself and your University Center or Program. These include: password-protected online directories, portals, or grant applications, including NIRS, the LEND Genetics Grant Application, the RTOI Application, the CDC Fellowship Application, the PMU Application and/or database, and the DDRC Web Portal. We may be adding others in the future as needed. We do not share this information with outside parties except the funding agencies and review panels specified in the application information.
If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. This information is not shared with outside parties.
When you browse through any website, certain personal information about you may be collected. We automatically collect and temporarily store the following information about your visit:
- The name of the domain you use to access the Internet (for example, aol.com, if you are using an American Online account, or vanderbilt.edu, if you are connecting from Vanderbilt University's domain)
- The date and time of your visit
- The pages you visited
- The address of the website you came from when you came to visit
We use this information for statistical purposes and to help us make our site more useful to visitors. Unless it is specifically stated otherwise, no additional information will be collected about you. This information is not shared with outside parties.
