This leadership role is a virtual training experience for trainees (LEND and DBP) to expand knowledge, leadership, and services related to Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder (FASD). Selected trainees will participate in a cohort to learn about clinical practice and interventions, network with researchers, meet people with FASD lived experience, and explore policy impacting systems. Cohort members will receive partial financial support to attend the Disability Policy Seminar held in Washington, D.C. in April 2025 and have opportunities to provide presentations.

Qualifications
Be a current trainee/fellow of a funded MCHB program (LEND or DBP).
Receive written approval from LEND or DBP program to attend the Disability Policy Seminar in 2025 and receive financial support for travel/lodging costs.
AUCD will cover registration costs.
Demonstrate an interest in Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder
Responsibilities
Commit to approximately 40 hours of virtual experience from October 2024 to April 2025.
Submit an online application by Monday, September 23, 2024, for priority review.
Email a Letter of Support to Elizabeth Cleveland after completing the online application
The letter can be from any LEND or DBP Faculty member and must indicate that the program is prepared to support travel/lodging costs for you to attend the Disability Policy Seminar in Washington, D.C., in April 2025.
