Request For Applications for Act Early State Systems Grants

Application Deadline: Wednesday, November 3, 2010

In order to support the collaboration of these summit teams, and to further the activities initiated by state teams during the Act Early Summits, AMCHP will award grants to state teams in the amount of up to $15,000 for a twelve-month period. Keeping in mind both the opportunities and limitations associated with this relatively modest amount of funding, the state team will use this funding to build on and complement other state activities as outlined in their state plan, which are designed to strengthen state and community systems for early identification and intervention for children with signs of ASD and other DD. All states and territories who have or will participate in an Act Early Regional Summit, except for those who currently have received a State Implementation Grant for Improving Services for Child and Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other Developmental Disabilities grant from HRSA, are eligible to apply.
