The Summer session for the PATHS Program included cooking classes. Students shopped for the ingredients and worked together in the Hullabaloo dorm kitchens to prepare the meals to share.
For many students this is their first time away from home, so the students worked hard and had a great time with different art activities focused on improving their self-advocacy skills.
The Texas A&M University Police Department provided informative safety trainings: Stop the Bleed, Active Shooter, some self-defense, and introducing the canines, K9.
Thank you to Aggie students at Texas A&M and the Residential Advisors for making sure PATHS students had a great time celebrating 4th of July. Students had hotdogs and watermelon while waiting to watch the fireworks from the top of the North Garage.
For this coming Fall, we have 9 students who will begin in their second year and 14 students starting their first year.
