WHAT IS THE STUDY ABOUT?
The Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) is doing a study to test COVID-19 vaccine ads to make sure they can be understood everyone.

  • This study is an online survey that tracks your eyes when you are looking at an ad.
  • This study will be done on a computer or laptop that has a camera.

ABOUT THE SURVEY:

  • You will look at 3 ads and answer questions about them.
  • You will use a computer or a laptop with a camera.
  • The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete.
  • You will get a thank you gift after you are done with the survey.

MORE ABOUT NEURMARKETING STUDIES:

In a neuromarketing study, a participant views ads and answers questions on a computer or laptop that has a webcam. First, you complete some set-up steps where you 1) make sure your face is in full view and 2) follow a cross on the screen with your eyes ensuring the software understands your movements correctly, all before the activity begins.

During the study, your webcam records your face and measures your eye movements to tell us how you respond to the ads and where you are looking when you view the ads. The recordings are not kept, they are translated into data that the research team can use to understand how you feel about each ad.
