Virtual Release of the Annual Disability Statistics Compendium

During this webinar series, experts will present three web-based tools (Compendium, Supplement, and State Report) that make finding and using disability statistics easier for individuals working on legislative and other matters relating to persons with disabilities. In addition, we will highlight two special topics: implications of COVID-19 for people with disabilities, and disability and African Americans.

Inclusive Supported Employment: International Learning Series

HDI Community Training Event: Emerging Disabilities

This has implications across systems, including early childhood, education, workforce, health care and aging. Kathy Sheppard-Jones, Andy Imparato, and Phil Rumrill will provide an overview of several emerging disabilities (e.g. autoimmune disorders, mental health, opioid use disorders) and will also explore the notion of emerging disabilities from a state and national workforce context.

20th Annual Chronic Illness and Disability Conference: Transition from Pediatric to Adult-based Care
Each year, AUCD supports the live broadcast of Baylor College of Medicine's Chronic Illness and Disability Conference: Transition from Pediatric to Adult-Based Care. This is a unique and low-cost professional development and learning opportunity for faculty, staff, and trainees from LENDs, DBPs, UCEDDs, and IDDRCs. It can also be a great way to engage community partners, including leaders from self-advocacy and family organizations. CART captioning will be provided for all broadcast sessions.

State of the Science Seminar on Effective Rural Vocational Rehabilitation Job Development
