AIR-P Presents: What's Medicaid Got to Do with It? National Research and State Innovation to Improve Health Outcomes
Join us for updates on how the latest national research indicates autistic individuals are gaining, maintaining, and using Medicaid that point toward areas for policy and program change. Experiences from Pennsylvania, a state with two of the first and only Medicaid programs to serve autistic adults, will describe how practice is unfolding on the ground and where research is needed to improve health outcomes.

Now Archived: Physical Activity is for Everybody
A truly inclusive community is one in which health promotion activities are as accessible to people with disabilities as they are to people without disabilities. The outcome of inclusive physical activity communities is a society that respects and values the rights of all. Physical activity can provide individuals with disabilities the strength and stamina required to participate in all aspects of life actively and successfully = it also benefits all adults, whether or not they have a disability, by reducing their risk of serious chronic diseases, such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes and some cancers.
